Curacao is considered to have the second best Carnival in the Caribbean: second only to Trinidad. The week begins in with the Children’s Carnival Parade in the center of town and culminates with the Grand Parade, followed by the Carnival Farewell Parade. As many as 100,000 people witness the final parade - a true spectacle!!

Curacao North Sea Jazz Festivial The second edition of the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival will take place on September 2 and 3 2011. During the two days the festival will cover a wide range of international artists performing at the festival grounds. In the week preceding the festival, the island will submerge itself in jazz, soul, latin, hip hop and r & b, all with a Caribbean touch.
